Ghosts (2002)
Ghosts explores ideas around digital communication, the longevity of information, and leaving ones mark an another’s experience.
Ghosts plays with the notion that text-based discussions are instant and have no longer term existence. By creating permanent sculptures out of these fragments of thought, throwaway ideas, abuse and casual conversations, we give each message a new context and added purpose. As all visuals are built out of the messages people leave, these messages form the basis of future users’ experiences.
