Submergence
Gloucester

A unique and welcoming light and sound event for all the family, creating space for exploration, play and connection.

Arts collective Squidsoup are excited to announce that Submergence is coming to Gloucester city centre this August.

Submergence is a unique and welcoming sound and light experience for all the family, presented at Gloucester Cathedral in 202 this artwork is back by popular demand for the communities of Gloucestershire to experience once again.

Squidsoup welcomes you to play and explore within the installation, to touch the lights, to make lots of noise, lie or sit down, lose yourself and become completely absorbed within this amazing experience. Offering a highly sensory, open space for families to come together.

Supported by Arts Council England, Gloucester BID and The University of Plymouth we are pleased to be sharing details soon of a series of specialist workshops and play sessions involving music and movement as part of the Submergence Gloucester programme.

If you would like to pre-register interest for these workshops, including a workshop with the University of Plymouth exploring co-design of artistic spaces for people with Autism please email hannah@squidsoup.org

For general enquiries and if you take part in or run a local community group and would like to visit Submergence please email seren@squidsoup.org.
